No service charge - gratuities entirely at your discretion.

Preorder and prepayment required.

Make your seasonal celebrations special this year by dining at The Rectory.

Our seasonal three course menu is available to parties of up to 60 guests throughout the festive season, starting on 22nd November right up until Christmas Eve.

Of course, we’ll be busy throughout the festive season, so you should book early and we do have some additional requirements for all bookings in order to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible for your party - you’ll see these under “booking information”.

Table Booking Information

Full prepayment of £30 per person is now required at the time of booking along with a preorder of your selections. This must be submitted on the preorder form that we provide to you and include the guest name with their choices alongside. No alternatives to the options shown are available and no changes can be made after this is submitted.

Bookings are confirmed only when you have received our email confirmation. Large tables will be seated across adjacent tables.

All monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation or forfeiture. If numbers reduce below the number booked then that part of the payment will be forfeited and cannot be reallocated at a later date.

Prompt seating at the time of the booking is essential, we recommend advising your guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before the booking time.

All tables need to be relinquished a maximum of two hours after the booked time unless exclusive hire has been agreed.

Drinks ordered and delivered at the table will be included on the table bill and cannot be paid for individually.  A service charge of 10% will be added to drinks served at the table and preordered wine and one bill will be presented for payment at the end of the meal.

Please remember that all payments are non-refundable, so if someone in your party drops out, their payment will be forfeited and cannot be repaid or reallocated.

Braised blade of beef,

dauphinoise potato, Chantenay carrots,

chestnut mushrooms, baby onions and bacon lardons

in a red wine jus  (gf)

Loin of cod wrapped in smoked salmon,

fondant potato, baby leeks,  peas

and a lemon butter sauce  (gf)

Mushroom, Brie, rocket and redcurrant filo parcel,

green beans, Chantenay carrots

and a wholegrain mustard sauce  (v)
